MEX Production Supervisor

Department: Product Realization
Location: San Luis Potosi, S.L.P, C.P, Mexico

Summary

Supervise, coordinate, and control the activities of the production personnel to ensure compliance with the company's manufacturing schedules, guaranteeing product quality, efficient use of resources, and adherence to industrial safety standards.

Responsabilities

  • Supervise compliance with the daily/weekly production plan.
  • Distribute tasks to operational personnel based on workloads and equipment capabilities.
  • Ensure the correct allocation of resources (materials, tools, and machinery).
  • Verify that the manufacturing processes for restorers (or "retrievers/reconditioners," depending on context) and sectioning equipment are carried out according to drawings, technical procedures, and quality standards.
  • Ensure that cycle times are met without compromising quality.
  • Track Key Production Indicators (KPIs): efficiency, productivity, waste, etc.
  • Supervise the technical and operational personnel assigned to the production line or area.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide feedback and technical support to the work team.
  • Verify that the product meets technical specifications before moving to the next stage or the quality area.
  • Detect and report non-conformities and implement immediate corrective actions.
  • Ensure that personnel comply with safety standards and the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Report unsafe conditions and participate in internal safety programs.
  • Propose improvements in processes, work methods, and resource utilization.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen initiatives, or other applicable methodologies.
  • Prepare daily reports on production, incidents, downtime, and progress.
  • Keep track of attendance and performance of the personnel under their charge.

Requeriments

  • Education: Electrical, electronic or mechatronics engineer.
  • Experience: 4+ years in a similar position desirable.
  • Conversational English
  • Use of ERP (Oracle is a plus)
  • Application of quality tools.

Knowledge:

  • Assembly practice for disconnectors and reclosers.
  • Use of various types of tools.
  • Basic knowledge of the LFT.
  • Use of Microsoft Office.
  • Use of an ERP.
  • Use of email.
