Engineering Support Coordinator

Reporting to the Production Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for supporting and driving efficient daily order processing and continuous process improvement within the Production Engineering department to deliver quality and timely information to Supply Chain and Manufacturing to satisfy customer needs. This role is responsible for supporting engineering changes, orders, and processes and for being a change agent in the organization

As an Engineering Support Coordinator, you will:

• Release Orders to Manufacturing
  • Upload Bills of Material, both manually and from CAD data files (all upper and lower-level drawings)
  • Create and upload laser marking files for labels and nameplates.
  • Enter top level drawings and wiring diagrams into ERP.
• Fulfill requests for Electronic Drawings and CAD Files ( Ex: DXF, IGES or DWG Format) from Customer Service, Application Engineering, Supply Chain and other G&W facilities.
• Support supply chain with part number and type updates in the ERP
• Process Drawing Change Notices including updating the BOM in JDE and verification of the processed ECN
  • Manage ECN Database.
  • Implement changes initiated by other facilities.
• Manage legacy part numbers.
  • Merge and/or replace with new standards.
  • Create drawing where needed.
• Support the mechanical and electrical engineers in the production engineering department as needed.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-Secondary Education in Engineering
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel
• Good communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
• Multi-tasking and paying attention to detail

What we offer you:

Typical pay is $45,000.00 to $58,000.00 annually.
