Intern - Cybersecurity - Summer 2026

Intern - Cybersecurity

Position Summary:

  • Monitor security systems and assist in responding to potential threats and incidents.
  • Analyze security logs and reports to identify suspicious activity; escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Support investigations into security incidents and help compile breach documentation.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Research emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to inform team strategy.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into applications and infrastructure.
  • Prepare reports on security exposures, compliance gaps, and remediation efforts.
  • Assist in resolving identified vulnerabilities and tracking remediation progress

Required:

  • Pursuing bachelor's or master's in a related discipline.
  • Prior experience with Information Technology and Operational Technology

Compensation and Benefits

Interns are well compensated with a competitive salary. Compensation is based on the number of years that you have completed toward your undergraduate/graduate degree or Ph.D. Housing is also available if needed.
